Coming up in March...

So the month of March is finally here and there are a ton of premieres coming this month. Here are my thoughts of the biggest releases in videogames and movies.

First of in the movie section there are a bunch of big and interesting titles coming in March. The film I feel most excited about is definitely Logan. Hugh Jackman’s final portrait of the iconic role as Logan: The Wolverine. The trailer looks great with many goosebump moments, which I feel will be in the film as well, the reviews have also been all but positive so it looks just amazing. AND it’s rated R for mature content, CAN’T WAIT!

Next up in the movie department are Kong: Skull Island and Ghost in the shell which are two titles I feel least psyched about. Don’t get me wrong I am excited for these films but not in the extent as Power Rangers and Beauty and the Beast. Kong looks good but it’s something we have seen so many times before. Ghost in the shell looks really cool but I have not seen the anime so if I ha d I probably be more excited than I actually am. Also my weaker hypefactor of these films is also due to

the fact that I have a larger relation and connection with my childhood to the latter movies as my childhood heroes of the Mighty morphin Power Rangers go to the big screen. IT’S MORPHIN TIME! The new adaptation of one of the most entertaining Disney classics Beauty and the beast looks from the trailers and pictures spot on. The atmosphere, the casting is great and I can’t wait to watch this when it comes out.

In the videogame department there are huge releases coming. My most excited and no surprise here for you who know me is Mass Effect: Andromeda. The original Mass Effect trilogy is one of the best games I have ever played (especially Mass Effect 2) and to continue to explore new planets, meeting new races and familiarize me with new characters is only the tip of the iceberg. 21st of March can’t come fast enough!

In other releases the next console from Nintendo is coming up, the Nintendo Switch which looks really cool, especially with the new The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild game as one of its launch titles. It looks just great and I’m going to follow the console closely during the first few months.

So finally i just want to mention the Netflix premier of Marvels Iron Fist tv series which looks great of what I have seen in form of trailers and pictures. It can totally beat Luke Cage and Jessica Jones in form of quality but not measure up to the brilliance that is Daredevil season 1 and especially season 2, it’s just a masterpiece. So, Iron Fist looks like it could be the second best superhero series of the “Defenders”. Only time will tell.
